(Dismissed) Revised Election Procedures Act

Post  Ronald on Wed Mar 13, 2013 8:10 pm

1 Elections will be conducted by the Founder in collaboration with the Chief Justice.
2 Elections will take place on the three days preceding the last day of the month.
3 In the case of any ties. The votes for the nations tied will be voided and and a one day run-off will be held only for the nations who are tied.
4 Any voiding of votes, disqualification of candidates or any other election related decision will be decided on in a Court case. The Court of Justice will make a decision. The Founder may prosecute but not make judgement on an accused nation.
5  Votes will be placed on an election page created by the Founder.

Here is a more detailed plan

Eurussia supports a detailed election procedure policy however, such proposal must be scrutinized and must contain very important details of processes as it involves crucial votes from different countries. Noting the current proposal, here are our concerns.

No. 1 - Our government rejects this provision as it doesn't entail a detailed procedure.

No. 2 - Our government rejects this provision as it doesn't consider the length of election period which are normally held for five to ten days in which in case of a tie on a particular rank, the provision doesn't provide any procedures to follow.

No. 3 - Our government rejects this provision as well as it doesn't consider the effects if a case is filed during an election period in which such pending cases might or may not affect the election results that must be announced on time.

Hence, Eurussia is against this Revised Election Procedures Proposal.
